The Golden Scholars program is an opportunity for persons 60 years of age and over to take courses at a discounted rate without the stress of earning a grade. 该计划的好处:

No grades will be assigned as the course is taken under a noncredit "audit" status.

While this program covers a discounted classroom and education experience it doesn’t cover activities listed under the Student Fee Allocation list as Golden Scholars do not have to pay student 费用. Due to this discount activities made available through student 费用 such as participating in student clubs, 学生生活事件, 户外活动, Mavrides, and other activities listed under the “Student Fee Allocation” list are not available to Golden Scholars.

All Golden Scholars will be held accountable to the Student Code of Conduct as outlined in the Maverick Guide.

T在这里 is no application fee but please allow up to 3 business days for our office to process your application prior to when you would like to enroll in courses. You will receive a letter confirming your application has been processed and that you have been admitted to the college as a non-degree seeking student. For the most up-to-date course listings, use the 课程列表网站. You can view the online course searches through your student MAVzone, or stop by the 虹膜 Office or the Registrar's office on campus to for assistance locating the online course search pages.

One week before the semester starts, you can officially enroll in courses either through MAVzone or stop by the 虹膜 Office or the 注册处 on campus. If the class you are interested in attending is closed or you encounter other registration restrictions, it still may be possible to add the class if the instructor approves and provides permission via a 特别许可E表格. If the instructor will allow you to add the course, they will approve your e form and enter an override that will allow you to be enrolled into the course(s) in MAVzone or in person at the Registrars Office or 虹膜 Office. To add during the Late Add Period, you will need to submit a Late Add form. If the instructor approves the form it will be routed to the Registrars Office and you will be added. 有关添加/删除截止日期，请查看重要的日子网页.

一旦注册课程, you can take a copy of your schedule to the MAVcard Office in the 大学中心 to get your student ID card. This is used in the library, computer lab, and for discounts on athletic, music, theatre events. For additional information please contact the MAVcard办公室 at 970-248-1059.

学费 and 费用 are not assessed until you are officially enrolled in the course(s). Most lecture courses do not have an additional course fee.
