Tomlinson Library’s purpose in engaging in the social web is to strengthen and promote the library’s engagement with its current users: CMU students, 工作人员, 和老师, as well as the wider community. We seek to provide welcoming, interactive forums that invite user participation and provide the library with a method of outreach to those who may be or become interested in library services and programs.
