Ranell穆勒, 博士学位, is always asking my students to critically think about topics covered and share their thoughts via group discussions where others can share their input and challenge other students' thinking. Sharing of ideas among the class encour年龄s students to question what they are learning. Mueller is approachable and friendly with her students, not setting herself apart from them as "the professor" and "the students." As an online instructor, she likes to require personal videos of each of her students to give a face, personal info and voice to connect to when talking via email. Mueller eng年龄s students by making discussions and topics fun for them to argue about, interesting for them to apply to a real-life scenario and intellectually challenging.

Mueller has taught abroad in South Korea and Jamaica, teaching upper-level graduate courses as well as undergraduate courses.

Mueller's research interests include student mental health and coping mechanisms utilized to reduce stress; human-animal relationships; suicide among vulnerable populations. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, animals, needlepoint, crochet, tea and exercise.
